We kept running and saw many other people running as well. We got to a

Then I saw another church where people did really emphasize the coming
but all the people didn't go as a result of the hidden sins which weren't known
to man and they had not counted as sin. I wept bitterly because this was a
church where holiness was professed and held in high esteem.

I saw yet another church where the people were actively involved in
preaching the word and talking about the second coming, however these people did not go. The whole lot was full of hypocrites who disguise themselves in shepherd's clothes.
I was then taken back to the place where the multitude were and then I
saw that the people of the beast came and Christians started scrambling for
safety. Brethren it was a terrifying experience. Women forgot their
children, husbands their wives. We ran and got to another place of hiding

That other had a small portion of his heart released to the devil. That other brother was too occupied with the things of the world in terms of land and property acquisition that they took over his life.
That other one, I gave him a mandate to pay a certain portion of money to the church and he procrastinated it till now: sin of disobedience.
That other so much loves his cheque book than his life. You can even see that he has his cheque book with him I wonder what he can buy with the money now: hope you know they are no more his.
I wept because so many little things which we humans don't count were
counted by God.
I now spoke with a confused voice, help us Lord.

After I gave my life to the Lord in 1997, the Lord asked me to give up wine... that it was for those who are perishing...
In 2004 on the day of Pentecost, the Lord baptized me with fire and He commanded me "do not drink wine or any alcoholic drinks..." Friend, you cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit and fire and at the same time take alcohol! This is why John the Baptist's parent were told to not give him alcohol or strong drinks, because he was to be filled with the spirit and fire. You cannot have BOTH!

Since you know, can you also tell me what are the sins they committed there? When you say this, you are calling Jesus a liar but there is nothing wrong that Jesus did. If He changed water into wine, he gave them the wine that is different from what they were drinking.
When people drunk it, they knew that it was different from what they were used to and they started praising God.”

Confess your faults one to another - This seems primarily to refer to those who were sick, since it is added, "that ye may be healed." The fair interpretation is, that it might be supposed that such confession would contribute to a restoration to health. The case supposed all along here (see James 5:15) is, that the sickness referred to had been brought upon the patient for his sins, apparently as a punishment for some particular transgressions. Compare the notes at 1 Corinthians 11:30. In such a case, it is said that if those who were sick would make confession of their sins, it would, in connection with prayer, be an important means of restoration to health. The duty inculcated, and which is equally binding on all now, is, that if we are sick, and are conscious that we have injured any persons, to make confession to them. This indeed is a duty at all times, but in health it is often neglected, and there is a special propriety that such confession should be made when we are sick. The particular reason for doing it which is here specified is, that it would contribute to a restoration to health - "that ye may be healed." In the case specified, this might be supposed to contribute to a restoration to health from one of two causes:
(1) If the sickness had been brought upon them as a special act of divine visitation for sin, it might be hoped that when the confession was made the hand of God would be withdrawn; or
(2) in any case, if the mind was troubled by the recollection of guilt, it might be hoped that the calmness and peace resulting from confession would be favorable to a restoration to health.
The former case would of course be more applicable to the times of the apostles; the latter would pertain to all times. Disease is often greatly aggravated by the trouble of mind which arises from conscious guilt; and, in such a case, nothing will contribute more directly to recovery than the restoration of peace to the soul agitated by guilt and by the dread of a judgment to come. This may be secured by confession - confession made first to God, and then to those who are wronged. It may be added, that this is a duty to which we are prompted by the very nature of our feelings when we are sick, and by the fact that no one is willing to die with guilt on his conscience; without having done everything that he can to be at peace with all the world. This passage is one on which Roman Catholics rely to demonstrate the propriety of "auricular confession," or confession made to a priest with a view to an absolution of sin. The doctrine which is held on that point is, that it is a duty to confess to a priest, at certain seasons, all our sins, secret and open, of which we have been guilty; all our improper thoughts, desires, words, and actions; and that the priest has power to declare on such confession that the sins are forgiven. But never was any text less pertinent to prove a doctrine than this passage to demonstrate that. Because:
(1) The confession here enjoined is not to be made by a person in health, that he may obtain salvation, but by a sick person, that he may be healed.
(2) as mutual confession is here enjoined, a priest would be as much bound to confess to the people as the people to a priest.
(3) no mention is made of a priest at all, or even of a minister of religion, as the one to whom the confession is to be made.
(4) the confession referred to is for "faults" with reference to "one another," that is, where one has injured another; and nothing is said of confessing faults to those whom we have not injured at all.
(5) there is no mention here of absolution, either by a priest or any other person.
(6) if anything is meant by absolution that is Scriptural, it may as well be pronounced by one person as another; by a layman as a clergyman. All that it can mean is, that God promises pardon to those who are truly penitent, and this fact may as well be stated by one person as another. No priest, no man whatever, is empowered to say to another either that he is truly penitent, or to forgive sin. "Who can forgive sins but God only?" None but he whose law has been violated, or who has been wronged, can pardon an offence. No third person can forgive a sin which a man has committed against a neighbor; no one but a parent can pardon the offences of which his own children have been guilty towards him; and who can put himself in the place of God, and presume to pardon the sins which his creatures have committed against him?
(7) the practice of "auricular confession" is "evil, and only evil, and that continually." Nothing gives so much power to a priesthood as the supposition that they have the power of absolution. Nothing serves so much to pollute the soul as to keep impure thoughts before the mind long enough to make the confession, and to state them in words. Nothing gives a man so much power over a female as to have it supposed that it is required by religion, and appertains to the sacred office, that all that passes in the mind should be disclosed to him. The thought which but for the necessity of confession would have vanished at once; the image which would have departed as soon as it came before the mind, but for the necessity of retaining it to make confession - these are the things over which a man would seek to have control, and to which he would desire to have access, if he wished to accomplish purposes of villany. The very thing which a seducer would desire would be the power of knowing all the thoughts of his intended victim; and if the thoughts which pass through the soul could be known, virtue would be safe nowhere. Nothing probably under the name of religion has ever done more to corrupt the morals of a community than the practice of auricular confession.
And pray one for another - One for the other; mutually. Those who have done injury, and those who are injured, should pray for each other. The apostle does not seem here, as in James 5:14-15, to refer particularly to the prayers of the ministers of religion, or the elders of the church, but refers to it as a duty pertaining to all Christians.
That ye may be healed - Not with reference to death, and therefore not relating to "extreme unction," but in order that the sick maybe restored again to health. This is said in connection with the duty of confession, as well as prayer; and it seems to be implied that both might contribute to a restoration to health. Of the way in which prayer would do this, there can be no doubt; for all healing comes from God, and it is reasonable to suppose that this might be bestowed in answer to prayer. Of the way in which confession might do this, see the remarks already made. We should be deciding without evidence if we should say that sickness never comes now as a particular judgment for some forms of sin, and that it might not be removed if the suffering offender would make full confession to God, or to him whom he has wronged, and should resolve to offend no more. Perhaps this is, oftener than we suppose, one of the methods which God takes to bring his offending and backsliding children back to himself, or to warn and reclaim the guilty. When, after being laid on a bed of pain, his children are led to reflect on their violated vows and their unfaithfulness, and resolve to sin no more, they are raised up again to health, and made eminently useful to the church. So calamity, by disease or in other forms, often comes upon the vicious and the abandoned. They are led to reflection and to repentance. They resolve to reform, and the natural effects of their sinful course are arrested, and they become examples of virtue and usefulness in the world.
The effectual fervent prayer - The word effectual is not the most happy translation here, since it seems to do little more than to state a truism - that a prayer which is effectual is availing - that is, that it is effectual. The Greek word (ἐνεργουμένη energoumenē) would be better rendered by the word energetic, which indeed is derived from it. The word properly refers to that which has power; which in its own nature is fitted to produce an effect. It is not so much that it actually does produce an effect, as that it is fitted to do it. This is the kind of prayer referred to here. It is not listless, indifferent, cold, lifeless, as if there were no vitality in it, or power, but that which is adapted to be efficient - earnest, sincere, hearty, persevering. There is but a single word in the original to answer to the translation effectual fervent. Macknight and Doddridge suppose that the reference is to a kind of prayer "inwrought by the Spirit," or the "inwrought prayer;" but the whole force of the original is expressed by the word energetic, or earnest. (REFERENCE JAMES 5.16)

What santification God means:
"Now the expression that we should “sanctify God” is used in the Old Testament. That’s a strange idea, but you see it in Deuteronomy 32:51. Look at 1 Peter 3:15. “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord.” The word there is sanctify: “in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord.” What does that mean: in your hearts set apart, sanctify Christ as Lord? Does it mean to make Christ holy? Here Peter is harking back to the Old Testament passage, Deuteronomy 32:51. But what does that mean? We understand that when we are told to sanctify ourselves, it means to separate from evil and separate ourselves unto God’s exclusive service. But when we are told we should sanctify God, what does that mean?
To sanctify God means that we should acknowledge in our hearts and minds that God is holy, that he is Lord of all, and therefore we must worship and obey him. That’s the idea. It is the acknowledgement that God is not a man; that God is transcendent; that God is holy; that God is Lord; that God is almighty; that God is separate and different from us; and that therefore we must obey him, revere him and worship him. That’s the idea.
Oh, do not let us treat God as our friend in the sense he is just like us. Oh, no. Jesus Christ is our friend, our Savior and our elder brother, but he is also God transcendent and almighty, the sovereign Lord of the universe. Therefore we must acknowledge him to be our Lord and render him absolute and implicit obedience. Many Christians do not have this understanding, that Jesus Christ is Lord and we must obey him. But we must always keep that in our minds. We must worship him, revere him and submit to him. That is sanctifying God in our hearts. That is acknowledging him to be who he is. “Qadosh, qadosh, qadosh - Holy, holy, holy - is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
This word also is used in terms of God sanctifying us. Look at Exodus 31:13. God says, “Say to the Israelites, ÔYou must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know I am the Lord’” - who sanctifies you - “‘who makes you holy.’”
Let’s look at more scriptures that show the truth that God - the triune God - sanctifies us. In 1 Thessalonians 5:23 it says: “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Yes, God sanctifies us, and here we see that God the Father sanctifies us. Remember the prayer of Jesus Christ? “‘Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.’” (John 17:17) Isn’t that wonderful? God plays a very important in our sanctification, in making us holy. God the Father is interested in our holiness."
"I want to speak to you about victorious Christian life. In theology we call this sanctification. Now that is a long word, but you must learn that word. Anyone who is a Christian must acquaint himself with biblical theological words, and one such word is sanctification. In the Hebrew the word is qadosh. You remember in Isaiah 6 it says: “Holy, holy, holy - Qadosh, qadosh, qadosh - is the Lord Almighty.” In the Greek the word is hagiazo.
These words have the meaning of setting apart - setting apart an object or a person or persons from a certain use to another certain exclusive use; from ordinary use to an exclusive sacred religious use. So we read in Exodus 19 that the people were sanctified. All the people of Israel were sanctified, meaning set apart as God’s exclusive people to serve and worship God. We read in Exodus 19:23 that Mount Sinai was made holy, meaning it was set apart for the use of God from which to speak. In Deuteronomy 5:12 we read about the Sabbath day being made holy, meaning that God set that day apart for the exclusive use of our worshiping and serving him. In Exodus 30:29 we read the tabernacle and the vessels were made holy, meaning they were set apart for God’s exclusive use.
So the root meaning of both the Hebrew and Greek words for sanctification is what? To set apart. Now, this setting apart has two aspects. The first aspect is to set apart from something. Turn to 2 Corinthians 6 and read from verse 14 through chapter 7, verse 1: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers,” etc. In other words, you should be separating from unbelievers. You should be separating from wickedness. You should be separating from Belial. You should be separating from idols. Read that entire section. It says there is no fellowship between Christ and Belial, righteousness and wickedness, or the temple of God and idols. Read 2 Corinthians 6:17: “Therefore come out from them.” Here again, you see a separation from - from all that is evil and wicked and idolatrous and evil - “and be separate.” So there is a separation from.
Secondly, there is what? A separation unto. Unto whom? Unto God, your heavenly Father. We read in 2 Corinthians 6 and verse 16, “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people.” It is separation from evil and it is separating ourselves unto God, our heavenly Father. “‘Therefore come out from them and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.’” It is separation, therefore, unto God. “‘I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.” So that is the basic idea of sanctification, of holy living, of living a victorious Christian life. Let us never forget these two aspects. What are they? Separation from all that is evil and separation unto the exclusive worship and serving of our God, who is our Father, the Lord Almighty.
You know, I have heard people glibly and superficially say, “Oh, well, it simply means separation. Be separated,” as though you don’t have to live a holy life. They affirm the basic idea is simply separation, and that God separated you. That is all true, but it is separation from something and it is separation unto God, who is all-holy and righteous. It is separation from evil and conformity to God, in other words.
The Bible uses this expression “sanctify” in many ways. First, we are told to sanctify ourselves. We just read that in 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1. You read it in Leviticus 11:44 and 45: “Sanctify yourselves.” The responsibility is given to you. You are to separate yourselves from all unclean things.
If that is the case, let me tell you, as a practical suggestion, that all that television watching that Christians do is absolutely moronic and sinful. It degenerates your mind. It debilitates you. It conforms you to the pattern of this world. It puts into your brain stupidity and wickedness. And yet how many people very passively turn the channel and are watching these things and getting entertained? Changing our television habits is a practical application of the basic meaning of the words qadosh and hagiazo - to separate from.
Another application involves young people buying and utilizing pornography. That is absolutely evil, and you and I have the responsibility to separate ourselves from evil. You can make a list of such things out of which you should sanctify yourselves or separate yourselves. You could also put food in it, and every other thing that is debilitating you. You must separate yourselves with a passion, with great diligence, from whatever is pulling you down from following Jesus Christ, ."
